This enigmatic 12x12 inch (30x30cm) acrylic painting is a striking moonscape from a distance.  On closer inspection, and with the right light, mermaids can be seen in the water adding a magical element to the scene.  The white solid wood tray frame adds to this effect, emphasising the moon in the first instance and contrasting against the deep blues of the water and the night sky.
